MAZZOLA COMPANY

1. Who is Mazzola?

Mazzola is the last name of the owners. The Mazzola Enterprise is a family business that was created by Elena and Victor Mazzola in 1993. Their daughter, Danna Mazzola took over the business, keeping it in the family.

2. How many years have you been in business??

The Company was founded in 1993.

3. How did you start your business?

Elena and Victor Mazzola immigrated from Argentina in the 1990s. Their older son went to school and came back saying that the children only ate peanut butter and jam sandwiches from Argentina, this was very weird. So Elena and Victor started providing healthy and nutritious meals to schools in the area.n.

They started with a school and quickly by word of mouth over eighty schools started using their service. Once the children ate Mazzola meals at school, they no longer wanted to eat their parents' meals at home.

We started getting calls from parents asking us to make a lasagna for the house and that's where the Mazzola store has become today. Offering the right variety of healthy, nutritious meals for families or just busy people!

Normally orders are ready the same day or up to 48 business hours depending on the order placed. There are fees associated with all deliveries and a minimum required to be able to qualify for deliveries.

Please note that in times of COVID, our employees will not be going into apartment buildings. They will ring at the entrance, but you will have to go downstairs to pick up your order.

In addition, if you live in the city center and there are no parking spaces for our delivery person to park to drop off the order at your home, it is possible that he will call you to come pick up the order outside.

Also, if you have pets in your home, please keep them inside your home. If your pet escapes from your home when your meals are delivered and it is not under control, we, the Mazzola Company and our employee do not take any responsibility.

Of course ! If you want to freeze a sauce in the vacuum bags, be sure to keep the bags as flat as possible in the freezer to keep the shape flat for easy storage.

5. Will my meals arrive fresh or frozen?

The meals arrive in both states, we cannot offer any guarantee in this regard. However, if you order our ''specials of the week'', it is very likely that the meal you receive will be fresh since they are made that week. However, if an inventory of the dish in question remains in the freezer from the last production, these meals will be sold first.

6. How soon will my order be ready for delivery or take-out?

We try to prepare each order as quickly as possible, however, an order can take up to 48 working hours to be completed (if you order a meal on Friday after 4:00 p.m., the 24 hours will only start the following Monday as we are closed on weekends). However, several products indicate the date they will be ready in their title (example: Chicken cacciatore - restock January 24). This means that this meal will only be ready from the date indicated.

Once your order is ready, you will receive a confirmation email telling you that you can pick it up (Monday to Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.). If the order has not been picked up within 24-48 hours of the email being sent, a member of our staff will call you.

If you opt for delivery, a member of our staff will call or email you to let you know when the order is on the way. Delivery may take 24-48 business hours. We prefer that you be present to pick up your order in person instead of leaving it outside your home. On the other hand, if you have confirmed that you will be present to receive the order and arrived at the door, you are not there, the delivery person will leave the order at your home and will try to hide it as best as he can from the street view. We are not responsible for your order once delivery has been completed. You will receive an email when the delivery is completed.

If you would like to receive your order on a specific day, please let us know in the comments and we will do our best to have it ready on the requested date. If this is not possible, we will let you know.
